Fundraising Director
Born in Washington D.C., Dipo Adesina migrated with his family to Nigeria at the age of 2, where he would complete his elementary school. As a child growing up in Nigeria, Dipo witnessed many of the same situations that face many countries in Africa today. He Even though those days are long gone, the memory still remains. In 1996, after completing his elementary school, Dipo later returned to the United States to further his education with the hope of one day being able to make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate around the world.
Dipo graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. As a student, he developed an interest in public speaking and leadership and sort to become an expert in both fields. Dipo is now known for his experience in public speaking and professional presentations. While attending Morgan State University, he became a founding member of MSU Toastmasters in 2006, a public speaking organization that provides a learning environment for people to hone their communication and leadership skills. Since then, Dipo has spoken at plethora of organizations and schools, such as EYE for Change, Baltimore Juvenile Justice Center, Gospel Faith Mission International and Lake Clifton High School. Dipo is also known for educating “generation Y” on the importance of education, entrepreneurship, money management and the power of changing your life by changing the way you think.
Dipo believes it is the right of everyone to receive sound education, because the world would remain stagnant if our future leaders are denied the access to be educated. In the great words of Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.”
There was once a time when Dipo couldn’t help those who were less privileged but through Dreams Fulfillment Foundation, he is now in a position to help children not only in Nigeria but across the continent of Africa. Coming from a humble beginning, Dipo gives all thanks and glory to God for who he has become today.
