Our mission is based on James 1:27 which states, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (NIV)
Children Rescue Center, C.R.C. is a registered Christian non- denominational, nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of orphans and abandoned children in Liberia. CRC has 23 volunteers, who have dedicated their lives to the up keep of these abandoned and orphans children.
Current project are as Follow:
Children Rescue Center, CRC Liberia, West Africa was founded 22 years ago and is the home to 300 blessed children, ages 3-18. The orphanage home sits on a 6 acres campus, boys dormitory, girls dormitory, Children Rescue Center Church, cafeteria, kitchen and a new fully staffed 8 rooms school. The school is operates from kindergarten through 9th grades and a agriculture and livestock project is ongoing.
History:
The organization was established in 1986 to give children a refuge. The orphanage home was founded by the late Rev. Mother Roseline A. Clarke, who died in March of 2006 and co-founded by the late Deacon Alexander Clarke Sr., who also died in July of 2003. Following the death of the founders, the orphanage home is maintained by their children who have lived with them through the entire process. The goal of the orphanage home is to teach leadership, self sufficiency and provide an example for Africa and the rest of the world. It is their hope that some of the children living on the orphanage home will someday carry on the legacy of this center.
Future projects:
Develop the 6 acres campus; build modern dormitories for boys and girls, establish a children’s clinic, extend the agriculture project and establish a vocational training program that will equip the children with skills that could provide job opportunities for them.
